Their work reflects the tradition begun with their father, a master glassblower for many decades whose work is highly regarded and collected internationally. Their work is available in select galleries and is included in major private collections as well as international art museums. Sometimes one of the brothers is responsible solely for a particular piece although often they collaborate. They design glass pieces for all three parts of the collection: the Artist Editions, the Studio Line and the Outdoor Objects. Pawel Borowski (born 1969 in Krosno, Poland) and his brother Stanislow Jan Borowski (born 1981 in Krosno, Poland) are part-owners of their family business Glasstudio Borowski, located in Poland. It goes without saying that each object from the STUDIO LINE is an individual piece and has been hand made with a great deal of love and attention to detail. They represent the vibrant, open art concept that is so typical of the work of the Borowski brothers.
Oh no! They also happen to be candle-holders, fruit bowls, vases or paperweights. But they are not content to remain just art objects: plump, friendly birds, or some other kind of sociable fantasy creature. At first glance they simply decorate their owners‘ shelves, coffee and dining tables as imaginative, amusing and elegant art works.
The objects in the STUDIO LINE collection transport the unmistakable artistic features and qualities of Borowski production into daily life. This family collaboration makes wonderful, whimsical glass objects. Hand-blown glass by Borowski Studio in Poland.
